Football talents aged 14 to 23 from Czechia and Slovakia. At the camp players are further split into 4 groups by age and level.

Not every SokrCamp participant receives an offer, of course. Coaches and scouts are looking above all for players whose performances stand out and who fit their programme. In previous editions around 30% of participants received a concrete offer.

Players stay in a newly refurbished part of the hotel inside the Nymburk Sports Centre. Twin and triple rooms are available, and you can request a particular roommate in advance.

Players are provided with three meals a day: breakfast, lunch and dinner. Main meals always offer a choice of three healthy options suited to athletes' needs. Breakfast is a buffet with a choice of bread, fruit, vegetables, cheese, yoghurt, cereals, eggs or pancakes. Drinks are available throughout the day, and isotonic drinks and electrolytes are available by the benches during matches.
In the case of food allergies or specific dietary requirements, such as a gluten-free diet, the player is responsible for choosing the meals that suit their individual needs.

Medical cover is provided throughout SokrCamp by two doctors: Dr Dagmar Karbanová, a paediatrician with 40 years' experience, and Dr Julie Šlamborová. They are on hand during training sessions and matches to give first aid, treat minor injuries and pulled muscles or apply strapping, and are also available outside the sporting programme, including at night.

Entry to the whole camp, accommodation and meals for the full duration, playing kit, a SokrCamp T-shirt and video footage of the match.

English is neither required nor necessary. Training sessions and interactive panels are held in English, but everything is always translated into Czech. SokrCamp is also a great chance to practise English naturally and try it out in real situations. If a player or parent would like a one-to-one conversation with a coach or scout, the organisers are always ready to help with translation.

At the camp you are seen live by coaches and scouts from American, Canadian and European programmes. We record video footage and feedback, which form the basis for recruitment and scholarship negotiations. Some scholarship offers may be put to players and their parents by coaches during SokrCamp itself.

The whole SokrCamp programme and the Nymburk Sports Centre are open to parents too. We recommend taking the chance to attend our guests' talks, meet them in person and watch the training sessions and matches on site. Parents' attendance is not required, however; in previous editions around 40% of them took an active part in the programme.

Parents wishing to attend SokrCamp should arrange their own accommodation outside the Nymburk Sports Centre, for example at a hotel or through Airbnb in Nymburk or nearby Poděbrady. Accommodation and meals for parents are NOT included in the SokrCamp fee and parents arrange them themselves.

Once paid, the fee is non-refundable. In case of illness or other serious circumstances you can contact the organisers, who will try to find a replacement. If a replacement is found, 50% of the fee will be refunded. Finding a replacement is not guaranteed.
