From the offers he received, Martin chose Layton Christian Academy in Utah, where he studied and ran, specialising in the 800 and 1500 metres. He earned an American high school diploma there and, after a gap year, moved on to Wake Forest, one of the most prestigious track programmes in the top college league, NCAA D1.

Nela is a Czech basketball player with experience of the national team and the top Czech leagues. In America she chose Daytona State College in Florida, where she averaged 9 points a game and was among the team's leading scorers, until a knee injury cut the season short. She is now back on a full scholarship at Collin College, who play in NJCAA D1, the top JUCO division.

Honza spent two years at Solebury School, an academically prestigious prep school an hour from New York and Philadelphia. He became captain of the football team and was named to the regional All-Star team after the 2024 season. In spring 2025 he earned his American high school diploma.

Štěpán is a footballer with experience of both youth and senior football who came to the USA for his final year of high school to earn an American diploma. He played for the GSA team at Gateway Legacy Christian Academy in Missouri, who play college sides every year alongside their high school fixtures.

Vitaly accepted a scholarship offer from Florida Preparatory Academy in sunny Florida, which he chose for its lively atmosphere and pleasant climate. Alongside his studies he devotes himself to boxing and strength training. He also earned his American high school diploma in Florida.

Lukáš is a seasoned midfielder who came through the Sparta Prague academy. From third-tier Dvůr Králové he moved to America and Rider University in New Jersey, where he plays in NCAA D1, the top college league, and regularly competes for the leading positions in his region. He attended the prestigious PORG grammar school in Czechia and keeps up the same academic standard in the USA.

Nichita is a gifted student who arrived from Czechia with a flawless academic record, and kept it up in his senior year at Florida Preparatory Academy, a few minutes from the beach. Alongside his studies he took up boxing and other martial arts.

David is an experienced centre-back who played in the Czech third tier and for second-tier HFK Kroměříž. In his first college season, 2023/2024, he played almost every match in full for the NAIA league champions and went with the team to within a whisker of the national tournament final. He is thriving academically too.

Filip is a basketball player who used his talent to win a scholarship at an attractive address, right in Miami. He is taking a bachelor's degree at United International College and has represented the school with distinction in college basketball, becoming one of its ambassadors along the way. He also creates engaging content on his social media from Miami.

Alessandro joined Faith Christian Academy in California, where he came into the Coalinga team under a Brazilian coach and settled in so quickly that he became the team's leading scorer and made the league's top 10 marksmen. The coach began building around him, so Alessandro decided to stay for a second year and graduate.

Ellen is a talented footballer with experience of the Slavia Prague academy, the Czech national team and the top Czech women's league. She made enough of an impression at SokrCamp 2026 to receive a scholarship offer from Life Preparatory Academy in Kansas. She will play there for the school team and at club level for FC Wichita, one of the most elite women's programmes in the USA.

Samuel is a footballer who played in the third tier of the men's game for FK Mladá Boleslav. He finished school in the spring and decided to move across the ocean to live out his dream and earn a university degree at the same time. His scholarship took him to Central Methodist University in Missouri, whose football programme is among the best in the NAIA.

Jan is an experienced footballer and a Baník Ostrava product who has gathered plenty of playing experience in the Czech second and third tiers. He is now taking that to American soil at Maryville University, one of the best in NCAA D2, where his ambition is to win both a master's degree and a league title.

Nella is a talented Czech basketball player with national team experience who worked her way to a 100% scholarship to study and play in the USA. She started out in Texas at Cisco College and after a year transferred as a sophomore to the elite programme at College of Southern Idaho, who compete for the national tournament title in NJCAA D1 every year.

Alex is a young midfielder who was at Dukla Prague before heading to the USA. At SokrCamp 2025 he was spotted by the director of sport at the prestigious Montverde Academy, who offered him a scholarship. Since the autumn he has been studying and playing football at Montverde in Florida, one of the most prestigious high schools in all of America.

Michal is a basketball player who moved from a Slovak academy to the ISA Hoosac international basketball academy in New York, which combines top-level basketball with the strong academic programme at Hoosac School. He joined for his final year and earned an American high school diploma there.

Radek is a quick, technically able footballer who plays on the wing and came up through Valašské Meziříčí. From there he went all the way to Western Iowa Tech, joining the Comets in NJCAA D2. He is a strong student as well as a footballer, so he has a chance of standing out on both fronts against American competition.

Kristýna is a talented footballer with plenty of experience from the Czech national team and the top leagues in Italy and Poland. In the USA she won a scholarship at Louisiana Christian University in Pineville, where she took a master's degree. She has now moved on to Monroe University in New York, who play in NCAA D2.

David's footballing journey began in Ukraine, from where talent and hard work took him across the ocean. He made enough of an impression at SokrCamp 2025 to receive a scholarship offer from GLCA high school in St. Louis. He chose to start in the spring, and from January 2026 threw himself into training with the GSA Prep team.

Elis studies at Miami Dade College, one of the largest universities in the USA with nearly 50,000 students, and makes the most of everything life in Miami has to offer. She documents her academic journey carefully and shows on Instagram what studying in the middle of the city and everyday life in this sunny metropolis look like.

Radek joined St. Anthony's High School in New York State, where he got the America you see in the films and graduated successfully. He is continuing on to university, this time back home in Czechia.

Šimon is an academically gifted student and proof that America looks for more than elite sport alone. He won a scholarship to Southwestern Academy in Los Angeles, where alongside his studies he took part in many sports and extracurricular activities. He completed his final school year in California.

Peter is a right-sided centre-back who came up through Novomestský športový klub in Bratislava. He made enough of an impression at SokrCamp 2026 to earn an offer from Layton Christian Academy in Utah, one of the strongest footballing schools in the western USA. From the Slovak capital he went straight to the mountains just outside Salt Lake City.

Petr is a talented outside hitter from VK Trox Příbram who won a scholarship to Missouri Valley College in the USA. He joined the team as a key addition, but later chose professional volleyball in Austria.

Hanuš is a goalkeeper spotted at SokrCamp 2026 by the scout Gustavo Machado. The school happened to be looking for a keeper, so everything was agreed quickly and fell into place. He went to Fort Erie International Academy, an elite Canadian sports school just outside Niagara Falls on the US border.

Alex is a talented Slovak ice hockey player who took a big step: moving for hockey and study all the way to Ontario, Canada. He went to the prestigious Ontario Hockey Academy, one of the sport's nurseries in its very birthplace, where elite training is combined with high school.

From the autumn Dominika is heading to The Kiski School in Pennsylvania, arriving from ABC Braník not only as a student but as a significant addition to the football team. She joins straight into the final year, giving her the chance to earn an American high school diploma.

Lukáš is proof that the road to America can start at home. A visiting scout spotted him at the first SokrCamp and recommended him for a scholarship at a high school in California. He went to play for the Coalinga team at Faith Christian Academy, where a Brazilian coach and technically strong team-mates helped him take another step forward.

Lucie is a Czech basketball player from KP Brno who worked her way through top-level youth basketball into the highest Czech women's league. She is now taking her talent to America and NJCAA D1, the top junior league, where she will play on a full scholarship for Crowder College in the picturesque Ozarks of south-west Missouri.

Štěpán is a goalkeeper who was recommended by a scout at SokrCamp 2025 and won the largest scholarship in the whole team as a result. It gave him the chance to study at the elite Canadian high school Fort Erie International Academy and keep developing both as a footballer and academically.

Natálie's all-round ability won her a scholarship to Gateway Legacy Prep in the big city of St. Louis. At the school she took up track and field and also earned her American high school diploma.

Emma is a beach volleyball player taking her career across the ocean to Tusculum University in Tennessee, the oldest university in the state, where NCAA D2 awaits. She made her mark at home more than once: two 13th places at the Czech championships, 4th at the women's Summer Cup, and victory in the Winter Beach League Prague.

Adam is an ice hockey player who came through the Czech junior top flight and gathered a good deal of experience there. Across the ocean he joined American International College in Massachusetts, a programme with a rich history in NCAA D1, the top college league, which today competes in NCAA D2. The new facilities and coaching give him room to take another step forward.

Leoš went to Morningside University in Sioux City, Iowa's fourth-largest city and a school with a proud sporting tradition that collects national titles. There he joined a historically very strong football team competing in the NAIA Great Plains Athletic Conference, an ideal environment in which to keep pushing his level higher.

Kryštof came up as a footballer at Bad Leonfelden in Austria, where he gathered valuable experience including in the third tier and built a solid foundation. Wanting to go further still, he decided to spend a year in Spain, where he intends to devote himself fully to football in a quality environment.

Eduard made enough of an impression at SokrCamp to win a free week-long football trial at FutEdu in Valencia, Spain. He was so taken with the environment that he later returned for a full three months, devoting himself entirely to football and pushing his level higher again.
