2. What we do
The provider offers advisory, consulting and brokerage services aimed at helping students from Czechia and Slovakia on their way to a sports, academic or independent scholarship and to study at high schools and universities in the USA and Canada.
The website sportujusa.cz presents those services and provides a first point of contact for anyone interested. Submitting the contact form, using the scholarship calculator or otherwise approaching the provider does not create a contractual relationship or any entitlement to the services: it is a non-binding enquiry.
3. How the arrangement is formed
The specific terms of each engagement (scope of services, price, payment terms, and the rights and obligations of both parties) are always agreed individually in a separate contract between the provider and the client. These terms and conditions are for information only and do not replace such a contract.
4. The nature of the service
The provider delivers its services with professional care and makes every reasonable effort to achieve the client's goal. It does not, however, guarantee any particular outcome, in particular winning a scholarship of a given size, admission to a particular school, the granting of a visa or the signing of a professional contract: those decisions rest with third parties (schools, coaches, authorities) that the provider cannot influence.
5. Consumers and dispute resolution
Where the client is a consumer, the relationship is governed by Czech Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code, and Act No. 634/1992 Coll., on consumer protection. Any complaint can be raised by e-mail at johanakarbanova@sportujusa.cz.
If a dispute is not resolved amicably, a consumer has the right to turn to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Štěpánská 796/44, 110 00 Prague 1, www.coi.cz), which is the body for out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes.
6. Personal data
The processing of personal data is governed by a separate Privacy Policy, available on the provider's website.
7. Final provisions
These terms are governed by the law of the Czech Republic. The provider is entitled to amend them; the current version is always available on this page.
